Eamon Colman

Born in Dublin in 1957, Eamon Colman is a former President of the European Council of Artists and a recently elected member of Aosdána. He has exhibited widely in Ireland and abroad including shows in the Hillsboro Gallery, Dublin; Rubicon Gallery, Dublin; Tulfarris Gallery, Wicklow; Droichead Arts Centre, Drogheda; Vanguard Gallery, Cork; Oriel Queens Hall Gallery, Wales; the Palais des Congres, Lorient and in Frederickshaven, Denmark.

He has received numerous awards and commissions and his work forms part of collections of many organisations including AIB Bank, Brussels; KPMG, Dublin; Vermont Studio Centre and the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast. He now lives and works in Co. Kilkenny.
