John Short
John Short
John Short was born in Scotland in 1953. He studied at Edinburgh college of Art and The Royal College of Art.
John has won The Royal College of Art Drawing Prize, The Berger Colour Prize, The Kilcock Gallery Award and The K & M Evans Award. He has exhibited his drawings, Paintings, prints and sculptures in galleries in Ireland, the UK, Jand was selected to exhibit in the Irish pavilion during EXPO World Fair in Shanghai, China in 2010. John has had three solo exhibitions in Ireland and exhibits regularly in the RHA and te Irish Watercolours Society Annual Exhibitions. He is represented by The Tramyard Gallery, Dalkey and The Fraser Gallery, St Andrews, Scotland. His work is included in private collections in Ireland, France, USA and UK. He is a Senior Lecturer in Imagemaking and Drawing in Dublin Institute of Technology.
John Lives and works in Dalkey, County Dublin.
