The Bone Marrow for Leukaemia Trust (BMLT) was formed in 1980 for the purpose of supporting all aspects of the stem cell transplant program in St James’s Hospital.
The BMLT relies totally on charitable donations which it uses to support the transplant program. The BMLT does NOT receive any funds from the HSE or any government agency.
The Board is entirely voluntary and NO member of the BMLT receives any remuneration or expenses. Board meetings are held monthly and minutes are kept.
Accounts are audited and lodged with the CRO and the Charities Regulator annually.
